Adrienne has had Siberians
since 1975. In 1982 she put her
very first title on any dog. It was a
Companion Dog Obedience Title on
Northern Light's Nova, a Siberian
she bred. Nova lived to a ripe old
age. We lost her 6 weeks shy of her
16th birthday.
Nova left a huge hole in my heart
and I swore I'd never get another
Siberian, it was too painful. Then
along came Mushka & Mike
Blanchard. For several years Mike
& Mushka and Me & Asta then Bure,
would be in the group rings
together. Mike & I would chat inside
the ring, then outside the ring.
Finally after 3 years, and having
greatly admired Mushka, I told Mike
if Mushka ever had puppies I would
like to have one.
We waited 3 more years for Aurora
to come along. And in Feb 2003 we
got her. She was well worth the
wait! Adrienne has handled her to
her Championship, she finished at
17 months, and a Group 3 at the
North-Star Working Group Specialty.
In 2005 with limited showing,
Aurora had several Breed Wins and
racked up 75 breed points. All
owner handled!
Aurora is an extremely sweet
Siberian. She doesn't run away,
dig, or try to escape. She is a
GREAT Mommy & Auntie Dog and
loves to play with any & all puppies.
Another great shot of Aurora in a freestack. Again, by Beth

Northern Light's Nova CD
Pictured at the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club
Specialty. It was April 30, 1994. I thought it would be fun to
show Nova once in conformation & I had also entered her in
the Parade of Title Holders. She was the oldest Siberian
shown that year. I remember the look on her face when she
was given pieces of bait. Nova could have said, "All I have to
do is stand here and you'll feed me! Excellent!" Nova liked
food.
Nova was whelped in my bedroom 13 Oct 1980. When I met
Alan, now my husband, I mentioned that I would never forget
his birthday since it was the same as Nova's. At the time, I
never thought he'd become my husband. And he's never let
me forget the only reason I remember his birthday is
because of Nova.
She was my college dog and after Alan & I got married and
Alan joined the Air Force, she & my other Siberian, Quasar,
moved to Germany with us. Nova got to travel through
Europe. She & Quasar always got attention. Quasar died in
Germany and was buried in one of our landlord's field.
Nova also saw me join the Air Force. And she lived with us
in Arkansas, Florida, and finally to South Dakota. Nova died
August 1996.
